Job Summary

  • The Procurement Assistant will support the purchasing and inventory control of
  • production materials and raw materials. This entry-level position will assist with order placement, delivery tracking, and inventory updates to ensure timely material availability for production. The role is focused exclusively on production-related
  • materials and does not include general office supplies or facility services, which are
  • managed by the General Admin team.

Job Description

  • - Assist with creating and tracking purchase orders for production-related materials
  • - Communicate with vendors (including Korean vendors) to confirm delivery dates and resolve discrepancies
  • - Check and record actual delivery quantities against purchase orders
  • - Help monitor inventory levels and update stock data using Excel or internal systems
  • - Organize and maintain procurement-related documents such as PO copies, delivery slips, and vendor quotes
  • - Support cycle counts and inventory audits by preparing data and assisting with reconciliation
  • - Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to confirm material needs and availability
  • - Follow up with vendors for delayed shipments or quantity issues
  • - Perform other related duties as assigned by the Administration Manager

Qualifications

  • 1. Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • 2. Basic understanding of purchasing or inventory processes preferred
  • 3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including data entry, filtering, basic formulas
  • 4. Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • 5. Ability to read and write Korean
  • Physical Requirements:
  • 1. Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments
  • 2. Able to occasionally lift packages up to 50 lbs.
  • 3. Comfortable walking or standing while verifying materials or assisting with inventory tasks
  • Licensing or Other Special Certifications Required:
  • 1. Forklift trainer certification preferred.
  • 2. Certification or education evidence of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 is preferred.
  • 3. Certification related to trade and customs, such as NAFTA, BABA, HTS or similar, are preferred.
  • Working Conditions:
  • 1. Occasionally lifting and / or carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • 2. Ability to move around factory or warehouse environment as needed.
  • 3. Exposure to varying manufacturing conditions, including heat, cold, and potential chemical fumes.
