Job Description

  • MAJOR FUNCTION:
  • 1. Daily tracking of attendance, benefit enrollment & payroll management utilizing ADP software
  • 2. Liaison with long & short term Korean ex-patriots, inc., housing, transportation, orientation and general oversight
  • 3. Purchasing and financial reconciliation of invoices for HR/GA
  • 4. Maintain and update all plant social media and recruiting websites.
  • 5. Maintain adequate production manning to meet plant production requirements
  • 6. Assist HR Team in all facets of customer service to plant employees.
  • 7. Coordination of recruitment and orientation of new plant personnel
  • 8. Reports to the General Manager of Human Resources.
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • 1. Following and implementing all plant safety rules
  • 2. Efficiently handle invoice and company credit card approval and payment through corporate EZ Accounting system.
  • 3. Handle internal applicant process by reviewing applications, scheduling and conducting internal interviews with a selected interview team, assess interview scores and communicate results.
  • 4. Assist with onboarding process of new associates for the purpose of ensuring associates are knowledgeable of current practices and administrative processes
  • 5. Work with Department Leaders to track plant manning, assess department manning needs, and create action plan.
  • 6. Act as a liaison with external recruiting resources
  • 7. Coordinate training schedules plant wide, including new hire training, annual, recertifications, management and specialized external training
  • 8. Conduct plant wide communications not limited to: Open Enrollment, Annual Training, HR information sessions, policy changes, etc.
  • 9. Manage personnel files to ensure accuracy and maintain organization
  • 10. Assist HR team during Open Enrollment to collect and update insurance changes.
  • 11. Assist in the offboarding of associates including investigations, paperwork, and communication.
  • 12. Manage corporate housing of company visitors and expats related to long, short term and overnight stays.
  • 13. Attend collegiate, department of labor, and local career fairs
  • 14. Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective functioning HR team
  • ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • 1. Assumes other duties as assigned by HR GM.

Qualifications

  • PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:
  • 1. B.A. in Human Resources, Management, or equivalent
  • 2. 2 years’ experience in management position or equivalent
  • 3. Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, and training and development. Well-developed administrative skills. Strong management skills?principles and people.
  • 4. Must be able to effectively communicate with Korean ex-patriots and plant team leaders.

  • 1. High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
  • 2. Superior interpersonal abilities. Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible.

  • Organizational Relationship:
  • 1. Position accountable to the General Manager & Sr. Human Resource Managers, for all phases of their activities.
  • 2. Supports other HR team members to ensure plant safety, morale and attendance remains at a high level.
