Job Summary

This position prepares and processes logistics related documentation and assists with logistics between plants and warehouses. Support SC team to analyze data, MIS, to meet the business demand

Job Description

• - Analyzes sales and production to control inventory levels of all storage locations.
• - Logistic cost analysis, logistics network and system optimization.
• - Control/communicate with vendors; Review and evaluate the contracts and discount policy from suppliers.
• - Preparing, processing and issuing export bills of lading, and responding to customer inquiries.
• - Ensuring documentation in compliance with booking, quality, and regulatory standards.
• - Ensuring accuracy of purchase orders, invoices and similar documentation and process.
• - Corresponding to all issues related to shipment with freight forwarders/shipping lines, factory, warehouse, and customers.
• - Communicating with HQ Plant site for all shipment related issues (AP, Freight, 3PL Vendor analysis, Logistics Expenses etc.)
• - Processing of logistics related invoices
• - Analyzing all related to logistics data such as customer, vendor, geographical information, etc. and requesting update if needed.
• - Working on logistics projects if needed.
• - Preparing various logistics related reports periodically.
• - Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• - Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• - Advanced computer skills, i.e. Microsoft office, Excel, SAP.
• - Ability to participate in a high-performance team-based environment that is fast-learning and adaptive.
• - Ability to communicate effectively and participate in a continuous improvement culture, including utilizing problem-solving skills.
• - Critical thinking, multi-tasking and troubleshooting skills.
• - Attention to detail.
• - Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• - Ability to work extended hours beyond the normal work schedule during closings and audits, as needed
• - Ability to meet deadlines
• - Bi-Lingual (Korean/English) a plus
• Education and Experience
• - Bachelor’s degree & 2 years’ experience
• - Associate’s degree & 2 years of directly related experience
• - High School diploma/GED & 4 years directly related experience
• - SAP experience preferred
• - Computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Excel preferred
• Physical Demands & Work Environment
• - Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm/or09:00am-6:00pm unless business needs require additional hours worked.
• - This position operates primarily in an office environment.
• - Some travel is required for this position.
• - This position does not supervise the work of others.
• - Ability to remain in a stationary position up to 85% of shift.
• - Ability to ascend/descend stairs if necessary;
