Job Summary

Support the manufacturing areas with plant focus on minimizing downtime, increasing productivity and maintain the overall Toyota Production System as well as company policies/procedures.

Job Description

  • Essential Job Functions:
  • A. Support maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to provide a reliable production platform.
  • B. Perform predictive and preventive maintenance in conjunction with production management to ensure operability of all plant production equipment and facilities.
  • C. Perform general building maintenance
  • D. Oversee machines in Sewing area, Assembly area and Injection Molding area.
  • E. Machine uptime/downtime management
  • F. Support Kaizen and other related activities
  • G. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • · High School diploma or GED required
  • · Industrial Maintenance Associate's degree preferred
  • Experience:
  • · 2-5 years experience in robotics tuning, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication.
  • Personal/Technical Skills:
  • · Self-starter with strong work ethic
  • · Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • · Flexibility in a changing environment
  • · Mandatory overtime flexibility
  • Language Skills:
  • · English, both written and verbal
  • Computer/Software:
  • · Basic Microsoft Office applications
  • Work Environment/Conditions:
  • Office: Open Office Environment, moderate noise level.
  • Plant: Standard automotive plant environment with moderate noise level. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses, steel toe shoes, hearing protection, etc. may be required in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial areas. Personal attire standards may apply.
  • Travel: 10%
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit and work on a computer for extensive periods of time is required. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, see, and hear. The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods of time. May be occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds.
