The company is a social enterprise specializing in supply chain management (SCM) and creating social value in collaboration with its clients. Founded by SK, the company is a sourcing and procurement service company that utilizes its entire revenue to support and connect social enterprises, thereby generating social value. The company primarily focused on procuring maintenance (MRO) products for the EV battery industry etc.

Job Summary

The Logistics Intern will work closely with the Logistics Manager and the logistics team to support day-to- day operations and gain practical experience in various aspects of logistics management. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn about logistics processes, supply chain management, and warehouse operations while contributing to the success of our logistics initiatives.

Job Description

  • - Assist the Logistics Manager in monitoring and coordinating logistics operations and processes
  • - Support reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating quote packages from suppliers.
  • - Research potential suppliers, develop, and coordinate supplier relationships as needed.
  • - Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to maintain a safe work environment and ensure
  • compliance with safety regulations
  • - Assist in the development and execution of Supply Chain Management (SCM) plans, conducting
  • evaluations periodically.
  • - Review order specifications to streamline procurement processes and optimize efficiency.
  • - Support in overseeing shipments, incoming inventory and storage operations
  • - Assistant in analyzing production metrics and data to identify area for improvement and optimization
  • - Collaborate with team members to maintain strong relationships with suppliers, internal and external customers, including Sales Managers, to ensure on-time program deliverables.
  • - Assist in negotiating pricing with customers/vendors.
  • - Assist in preparing reports based on procurement activities, inventory, and status.
  • - Provide excellent customer service.
  • - Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • - Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • - Must be KOR/ENG Bilingual
  • - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • - Must be able to work legally without visa sponsorship
  • - Initiative-Taker: Demonstrate a proactive approach in leading procurement services activity, facility management, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
