About Our Client

• Our client is a major supplier for Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Motors. The company is a global automotive parts manufacturer that provides a wide range of products, including modules for automotive assembly, safety systems, and electronics.
• This plant plays a crucial role in producing key automotive components such as chassis, cockpit, and front-end modules. These components are essential for vehicle assembly and contribute significantly to the overall production process of Hyundai and Kia vehicles. The plant's operations involve advanced manufacturing techniques and adhere to high-quality standards to ensure the reliability and performance of the automotive parts they produce.

Job Summary

• The Accounting Manager performs general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts
• payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. The Accounting Manager is also responsible for
• maintaining systems for collecting, analyzing, and reporting information.
• In the early stages, the Accounting Manager will contribute to the establishment of the company operating standards and systems. These systems will support management of the
• investments and budgets and contribute to the construction of buildings/facilities/equipment. After the
• establishment of the corporation, the Accounting Manager will oversee operating the determined
• standards and systems. Of course, even at this stage, if necessary, standards and systems can be
• improved.

Job Description

• - Maintain the general ledger system
• - Prepare and/or review appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations
• - Ensure correct and timely month-end and year-end closing
• - Assist with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities
• - Coordinate the development of budgets, forecasts, and projections
• - Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements/reports, and regulatory reporting as applicable
• - Evaluate and make improvements to internal accounting processes
• - All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Required Education & Experience:
• - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• - Advanced computer skills: MS Office, accounting software and databases
• - Knowledge of applicable bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and
• regulations
• - SAP experience preferred but not mandatory
• - High attention to detail and accuracy
• Preferred Education & Experience:
• - 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role
• - Working knowledge of Accounting and Finance field
• - Years of experience in the automotive field
• - Bilingual (English/Korean) preferred but not mandatory
• Certificates, Licenses, and Registration:
• - CPA preferred but not mandatory
