Job Summary

  • The Sr. HR manager is directly responsible for the overall strategy, administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources within the company. Finds issues and improvement plans, then makes recommendations to management for implementation and changes.

Job Description

  • ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops and administers various human resources plan and procedures for all company personnel
  • Plans, organizes and controls all activities of the department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems
  • Implements and annually update the compensation program, rewrites job descriptions as necessary, conducts annual salary surveys and develops salary budge; analyzes compensation, monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary
  • Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and updates handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefit s administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness, information activities program and cash flow
  • Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations
  • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers; writes and places advertisement on job boards, and acquires recruiting agencies when needed, conducts interviews, completes reference check, background checks, extends job offers; conducts new-employee orientations
  • Develops and administers all employee relations activities. Conducts exit interviews and reviews findings with senior management
  • Enhance, and/or develop, implement and enforce human resources policies and procedures of the organization that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation-HRIS
  • Adheres to all safety and GMP policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Passion and Tenacity in HR
  • HR certification is a plus
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Korean) is required
  • Payroll experience (ADP, Dayforce etc) is a plus
  • Enough computer skills: MS Office
  • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Three years and more of HR Manager experience
  • Manufacturing industry experience is preferred
