Quality Control Assistant Manager

About Our Client

Job Summary

  • 1. Maintains quality management system in compliance with ISO/IATF 16949 requirements and customer specification
  • 2. Monitors standards of the organization or quality process
  • 3. Manages current process improvement and new process development
  • 4. Develops plans for annual internal and external QMS audit plans
  • 5. Trains internal auditors, department specialists/team members

Job Description

  • 1. Conducts and completes internal audits based on annual internal audit schedule
  • 2. Manages 2nd and 3rd party quality system audits
  • 3. Leads quality innovation activities (setting up goal/periodic monitoring, etc.)
  • 4. Develops quality strategy planning
  • 5. Controls failure cost (internal failure cost/field claims/customer downtime cost, etc.)
  • 6. Forecasts field quality issue trends
  • 7. Develops annual business plan, management review, financial reports
  • 8. Review and approve department documents
  • 9. Monitors and resolves internal and external customer concerns
  • 10. Develops corrective action plan for customer claims,
  • 11. Performs other duties as assigned
  • ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • 1. Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1. Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering field and 5 years related field experience required
  • 2. Five years of process improvement experience required
  • 3. Proficiency in Window Excel, Power Point, Word, CAD required
  • 4. An individual must demonstrate strong supervisory, interpersonal, communication skills
  • 5. Capability to perform multi-tasks

  • 1. High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
  • 2. Superior interpersonal abilities. Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible.

  • 1. Accountable to the Top Management of the organization for all phases of activities.
