Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and it includes but is not limited to:
  • - Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary
  • - Assisting the manager in organization, planning and implementing strategy
  • - Create reports, analyze data such as market, competition
  • - Daily communication in multinational
  • - Manage communication between direct customers and internal, particularly with SEMCO business operations in Korea
  • - Work with engineering and sales teams in Korea and other countries to win design-ins and ensure customer specifications are met at a competitive price
  • - All aspects of customer support; project award efforts, NRE cost negotiations, sample quotes, PO requests and price negotiations, AR payment follow-up
  • - Meet sales targets through effective planning and budgeting
  • - Market research and be the voice of the customer to the SEMCO team in HQ
  • - Customer & factory alignment
  • - Contract negotiations
  • - Participation in trade shows such as CES(Consumer Electronics Show),EDS (Electronics Distribution Show)


  • - 3+ years of experience, with outside sales experience preferred
  • - Bachelor Degree, Engineering Degree preferred but not required
  • - Data analysis skills
  • - Dedication to providing great customer service
  • - Product knowledge a plus
  • - Bay Area customer knowledge a plus
  • - Hard working and result driven mind set
  • - Demonstrated experience in budget and forecast abilities
  • - Exceptional customer interface and customer service track record
  • - Possess strong organizational, time-management, and negotiation skills
  • - Excellent communication skills with internal and external contacts and customers
  • - Strong/Advance computer abilities (computerized systems, mobile devices and MS Office)
  • - Multitask and prioritize workload and determine priorities
  • - Detailed-oriented and results-driven
  • - Generate spreadsheets, reports, data, and other information for presentations
  • - Read, analyze and interpret work instructions and procedures
  • - Must have the ability to change gears comfortably
  • - Must be able to travel about 20% + of the time
  • - Strong communication skills in a multi-cultural business environment
