Job Summary
Job Description
- Lead the full design process for golf apparel ? from concept and trend research to final product delivery.
- Develop seasonal collections that reflect brand identity, consumer needs, and global fashion trends.
- Create detailed technical packages including sketches, color stories, fabric selections, trims, and construction details.
- Collaborate with product development, sourcing, and merchandising teams to ensure accurate and timely execution.
- Source and evaluate performance fabrics (moisture-wicking, 4-way stretch, UV protection, sustainable textiles).
- Participate in fit sessions, prototype reviews, and sampling to ensure optimal fit, function, and quality.
- Conduct competitive analysis of premium golf and performance sportswear markets.
- Translate lifestyle and streetwear influences into wearable, on-course-appropriate designs.
- Maintain a strong understanding of garment construction, manufacturing processes, and cost targets.
Qualifications
- 4?10 years of experience in apparel design, preferably in sportswear, athleisure, or performance outdoor wear.
- Proven track record in end-to-end product development with a strong portfolio to match.
- Experience with brands in the premium or high-performance segment is highly preferred.
- Solid technical skills: proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
- Deep understanding of fabrics, fit, pattern making, and production workflows.
- Ability to design quickly and adapt to fast-moving timelines (“agile design” capability).
- Strong eye for color, proportion, and detail.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Passion for golf, sportswear culture, and lifestyle fashion.
