Job Summary

The company is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator / Junior HR Generalist to join our HR team. This role will primarily support payroll and benefits administration, while also assisting with recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, and employee events as needed. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional early in their career to gain hands-on experience across multiple HR functions.

Job Description

  • Payroll & Benefits Support (Primary Focus)
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee data
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
  • Coordinate with external payroll and benefits vendors
  • Maintain payroll- and benefits-related records and documentation
  • HR Operations
  • Serve as a point of contact for basic employee HR questions
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including paperwork and system updates
  • Maintain employee files and records (I-9, personnel files, etc.)
  • Support compliance with company policies and California labor laws
  • Recruiting & Hiring Support
  • Assist with recruitment activities such as resume screening and interview coordination
  • Prepare offer letters and hiring documentation as needed
  • Events & Engagement
  • Support planning and coordination of employee events and internal activities
  • Assist with HR projects and employee engagement initiatives
  • Other
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1?3 years of HR-related work experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Basic knowledge of payroll, benefits, and HR administration
  • Familiarity with California employment laws is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully onsite office environment
  • Korean?English bilingual required (basic conversational level acceptable)
